Edna wishes to provide to her students the tools and knowledge to become a great musician. Edna strives to inculcate the passion for learning in her students. For composition lessons, her priority is to focus on the strengths and interests of each individual student while sharing new techniques and ideas they could use in their music. Edna’s goal is to help composition students who are interested in pursuing a professional career as a composer be prepared and equipped for that level. In addition, Ms. Longoria will provide recital opportunities so the students can experience their new compositions performed live. Ms. Longoria will also offer beginner piano lessons in order to provide a good piano foundation to her students that will help them be ready for the next level.
